Our guesthouse has a very central location and is only minutes walk away from the beautiful waterfront, with its gardens and of course its daily fish-, fruit- and vegetable markets, regarded as the most animated and picturesque of the Algarve. Every Saturday there is the very popular weekly market on the street around the markets here in Olhão.
Eat at one of the many restaurants who serve you a wide variety of delicious (sea)food. Have a drink at a Jazz-Café and watch the boats pass by.
Explore the labyrinth of cobbled stone streets and discover the charm of this old fishing town, with it´s whitewashed square houses and their typical stairs leading to the flat roofterraces.
Take a stroll to the harbour and hop onto one of the ferries to any of the wonderful islands, Culatra, Farol or Armona just off the coast in the Ria Formosa National Park, visit the fishing villages, see the birdlife, watch the harvest of different shellfish or just relax on one of the beautiful sandy beaches.
